Welcome to the 2005 Virtual
Emmy Awards
This premise was originally founded by Brent at http://www.tes.deadmanproductions.net but he lacked the time to maintain the site. Since there are so many virtual seasons out there but no real 'award ceremony' we've decided to pick up where he left off with his approval. If you had a series nominated on his site please resubmit your information to me. We have new rules and we need your contact information for our records. In order to nominate a series you must be the creator of the series. For those VS fans out there who find us please be sure to spread the word to your favorite shows. They may submit if they wish to do so. Like the real Emmy awards we'll take as many nominations as we can get but only five that I select will be competing for the prize in each category this summer. Since I am the creator and executive producer of Watchers and Watchers: Restoration I feel we should not be eligible to compete. So any Watchers fans out there who wonder why we're absent that's why. Since I'll be doing the 'final five' it would be a conflict of interest to other virtual seasons out there if we competed. Any show that had episodes during the 2004-2005 season are eligible. We'll be basing our judging on several factors - look of site, story plot, characterization, etc. We're trying to keep this as impartial as possible so if you'd like to be a judge and are not (or have been) a staff member of a virtual series please email me at cnwinters71@yahoo.com. Since some sites may be R rated - grown-ups only please. For further rules, dates and nomination info please visit the links to the left. Sincerely, President of the Virtual Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (Okay, so there's no Virtual Academy. I made that up. But it sounds good, eh?<G>)
