 Categories

  • Note: 

  1. (any series type) means any kind of VS out there - current television in production, canceled shows, original, alternative seasons, etc. 

  2.  

  3. (current or canceled) means only shows that have been on television before will be judged.

  4.  

  5. Stories will be judged in these major areas: Characterization, dialogue, plot, conflict, wit and overall storytelling. These points  will be judged more heavily than grammar, spelling or punctuation. However, know that submissions  with many errors in grammar, spelling or punctuation, which detract from the story, will get lower marks when voting so put your best product forward.

  7. Original characters can be from any type of series but they must be your original character. (As an example from Watchers, Rowena Allister or Becca Montague)

Here are the following categories:

 

Best Dramatic Series (any series type)

Best Comedy Series (any series type)

Best Continuation of an Established Series (current or canceled)

Best Alternative Version of an Established Series (current or canceled)

Best Spin-Off of a Series (current or canceled)

Best Original Virtual Season (your own concept)

Best Dramatic Male Character (any series type)

Best Dramatic Female Character (any series type)

Best Comedy Male Character (any series type)

Best Comedy Female Character (any series type)

Best Supporting Dramatic Character (not a lead  character - any series type)

Best Supporting Comedy Character (not a lead  character - any series type)

Best Guest Star Performance (one time guest stars or reoccurring characters fall under this category  - any series type)

Best Original Character (any series type)

Best Production (overall - look, navigation, etc. - any series type)

Best Director (Prose form only. No scripts. Story will be judged on description and characterization. In other words, direction of the story - any series type)

Best Script Form (Script form only. This is for stories that fit the Writer's Guild guidelines. It will be judged not only on compliance structure but also on content as well - any series type)

Best Poster Art or Artwork (any series type)
